Gentle Rehabilitation: IMPORTANT UPDATE: LORI IS GOING TO BE UNDER GOING SPINAL SURGERY IN JANUARY, SO IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT YOU FOLLOW OUR SCHEDULED HOURS. THERE WILL BE NO GROOMING UNTIL MARCH, unless you are on a regular returning customer schedule. Emmy will be grooming the regular customers until August. At this time we are not accepting new grooming customers
We understand that many pets are fearful or nervous of grooming. Our staff works to eliminate the negative associations your pet may have with bathing or grooming. If your dog has been refused by other groomers, we may be able to help. We have displayed patience and kindness, while you stand by and watch and carry our enduring love for animals even if you choose not to watch.

Trims: You'd be surprised at how much of a difference a trim can make! If you feel like your dogs coat needs a little taken off the sides let our talented dog groomers tidy their look up in no time. With careful precision Kennelz and Bitz based dog grooming artisans can update cuts, trim out matts and polish up the overall appearance of your dog.
Full Clips: Our professionally trained pet grooming stylists are proficient in a variety of breed clips as well as basic clips. From Poodles and Schnauzers to Shih Tzu's and Scotties we do it all and will provide your pet with a style that is pleasing to both you and your dog. Since grooming is a matter of personal taste, we suggest you discuss your preferences with our office staff upon arrival so you can be sure you get exactly what you like.
Hand in hand with the bath or clip we will trim their nails, clean their ears and check and express anal glands as needed. Our state-of-the-art dog grooming spa is all about comfort, relaxation and pampering. We feel that cage-free is the way to be here at Kennelz and Bitz! Our grooming dogs are never kept in cages after their spa treatment is finished as is the case in most, but not all pet grooming facilities. Instead, they have the run of a shaded exercise area and green lawn where they can stay clean, relieve themselves when needed, and enjoy the outdoors, if weather permits. Otherwise they will be found in the indoor play area.
Upon departure from the Kennelz and Bitz dog grooming spa we will let you know if we have noticed anything out of the ordinary on your pet such as fleas, ticks, scrapes, nicks, etc. Together we can make sure that your pet stays in good health. Always bear in mind that our dog groomers are pleasant, professional, caring and keeping you and your pet happy will always be their top priority! Because we have limited space, and a growing clientelle, advanced reservations are a must during our busy seasons.
During the winter months we are only available for grooming on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays to the general public. Advanced appointments are recommended because we can only do a small amount of dogs per day. We do reserve the other days to groomKennelz and Bitz is open 7 days a week for boarding, and unfortunately because of our large customer base, can only groom three days a week (unless you are a boarding guest then we fit you in on the off days). We are proud to be able to offer flexibe times to accomdate YOUR schedule, not ours. Our kennel is found just out of Moose Lake City Limits, allowing us the ability to provide a private country setting that is very close to town and on a paved road, making finding us very easy, and not out of your way.
Don't forget about our terrific dog and cat boarding, training, and day care services too! We even offer a convenient pick up and delivery service in our Exciting Explorer "Puppy & Kitty Cab" if you're pressed for time.

Lori is proud of earning her certificates in pet grooming and massage therapy. You will also see that she is a perfectionist that makes sure that every dog and cat is bathed thoroughly, brushed completely, and groomed to almost perfection before it leaves the facility. She also displays patience and is rewarded with licks and kisses from her four legged clients, and receives hugs from her two legged ones! She also has three bath people that help her out during the heavy grooming season.
Each grooming includes a triple shampoo, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and an evaluation of the pet's coat, skin, eyes, ears, and teeth. If a situation is found needing attention, suggestions or a visit to your veterinarian will be recommended. We use only all natural ingrediants and mix it with love and patience to ensure your pet has a great time while they are here!

Here at Kennelz and Bitz we whole heartedly believe that dog bathing and grooming are very essential elements to a healthy and happy pet. Regular dog grooming not only keeps pets looking sharp (and smelling better), but also helps keep them healthier while very often reducing the risk of some diseases and conditions. Our experienced, qualified and caring professional dog grooming staff provides full dog grooming and bathing services such as:
Brushing and Bathing: Your dog will receive a complete massaging brush down from nose to wagging tail followed by a nice, warm and sudsy bath. We offer a premier bathing system that thoroughly cleans and soothes your dog's skin while removing all the dander from the coat. Our knowledgeable dog groomer will select a shampoo and conditioner that they feel your dog will benefit from the most. If your dog is on a special medicated shampoo please feel free to bring it along. From the tub to therapeutic drying! Once your pet is almost dry, they will go on the electronic grooming table your dog is topped off with a gentle blow-dry, an after care brush out and a much deserved cookie. We wash cats too!

We are able to offer your pet a Massage, Reiki and Yucca shampos, Conditioning Treatments, along with Therapuetic Drying, & finishing with delicate hand brushing. Our spa services are designed to give your pet the ultimate in relaxation and rejuvination, or if you prefer, we can help you out with just a plain old bath to help fight off pet odors & dander!
